Day 3 — Things Can Only Get Better
That's also the title of a Howard Jones song. Just popped into my head, and it felt fitting for today.
While yesterday was probably the worse day, today actually feels...hopeful? I got a good night's sleep, woke up in a good mood, and even felt better as a whole. Haven't felt nauseous after checking on my nose (knock on wood), and I think the healing is really starting to set in. There's been less blood, as well.
The only real blood I'm seeing now comes from run off when I spray some fluids up there, which is a good thing! I also noticed that my nose feels drier now, and I can feel my stents when I twitch my nose. Not too thrilled about that part, but there's only so much I can do. But soon enough I won't even need to keep a bandage under my nose. Gonna experiment with that today, just to give the poor thing some air.
I'm planning to send off the last of my Xhance to a donation center, so someone else can benefit from the expensive applicator and medicine within. Unfortunately, my epipens are close to expiration so they won't take those, but a family member will. My goal for tomorrow is to have FedEx take those off my hands. Right after I find a box big enough...
Anyway, I'm going to continue to take it easy today, and watch more Twin Peaks after I'm done with schoolwork and editing. While I struggled to get into this final season on two failed watches, I'm now enthralled by where the story is going. More than halfway through! We'll see if I can finish by the weekend. After that, I'll continue my first watch of Star Trek: The Next Generation.
