Things Are Looking Up
While I was hoping for much more, 21 pallets is better than 33! It's still too many damn pallets, but we have breathing room now. Just gotta stay on top of it and hope we don't get flooded again.
On the other hand, I was annoyed to see that the temps left a ton of trash for us to clean up, along with product still wrapped in plastic. I also blame the supervisor for not managing like they should, cause that is completely unacceptable behavior. We could never get away with that shit.
But ignoring that minor blip, the day went well. We knocked out at least four more pallets, and we didn't get a truck (while I was there, anyway). We should have less than seventeen pallets now. Ideally less, but my coworkers couldn't stop slacking off, bah!
I didn't let that slow me down though, since I get off at two all week (woohoo!!), and being home early was just…so fucking nice. I had time to unwind before my partner came home, and was able to get some editing done. And now that this semester is winding down, I'll finally have more free time to focus on my books. Speaking of, I still need to do my final exams...
One will be super easy, but the other requires me to watch a movie and examine social aspects. Both papers are due by next Tuesday, so I'll have to get started soon. I plan to do the big one by Thursday, cause I'm unlikely to get it done otherwise. And then the fun begins...
But anyway, I think I've done all the ranting I needed about work. I've just been under a lot of pressure later, but things should get better soon.
