Thinking Positive
Going into this week, I want to list a few positive changes I'm excited for:
No longer will I have to wait outside for a manager to unlock the store. That means no more cringing in the cold and worrying about thieves and other creeps. I can let myself in with my door code, stride right in, and clock in on time (or a few minutes early) and get right to work!
In addition, I don't have to worry about timing my rides just right to avoid surge pricing or arriving too early. Now I can order a ride closer to my clock in time without worry. I can even save some money because the prices won't be too high. Can't say the same about evening rates just yet, but I always strive to leave 10 minutes early, anyway.
And now, the fun part!
I don't have to get as bundled up as I have been for the weather, since I won't be fighting the elements. That means less cargo pants, and more chinos. I have several new pairs I've only worn a few times at work, because it's been too cold out. That's no longer a concern now, though I can't leave the house without a decent jacket. The only downside is that I'd be losing my beloved pockets, but I'll be fine.
Those are all the pros I can think of at the moment, but I'll be sure to add more in the future. This is a really good start, as I do have cuter clothes I've been wanting to wear for awhile now. And now I'm thinking about watching anime at work, during my lunch breaks...especially if I do my reading before work.
